Message from the PTA
Welcome back to School and a warm welcome to all new families at AECPS.
For the PTA committee the new school year means that we are planning our AGM and the events for autumn.
This year we are looking to growing our group of lovely active members.
Can you spare a few hours a year to man a stall at an event? Are you crafty and keen to help decorate the disco? Or would like to get stuck in with planning our events or even join our committee?
No offer of help is too small, and everyone has something to contribute. Get in touch with your class rep if you can help. As a first step we’d love you to join our what’s app group of active supporters. This will mean that you are involved in our planning, know what’s going on and can get involved when you want and have time.
There is never any pressure to help but many hand make light work and with many supporters there is always someone who can support.
Many much-loved events by the children and our families at the school, like the Discos and Fireworks Events rely entirely on the PTA and volunteers to make them happen. Without the support of the whole school community, they would not be possible. Our fundraising efforts also ensure that much needed funds can be used on much needed school purchases, meaning that our children can continue to have the best possible resources even in the current difficult times.
If you are interested in being involved more, we are currently looking for a new PTA Chair and Treasurer.
