Relationship and Health Education

The scheme of work for Relationship and Health Education (including sexual health education) was updated after a  whole school consultation to include the new statutory requirements and meet the needs of our school community. A copy of the scheme is available on the school website - Whole School Curriculum document.

The Department for Education have published a leaflet for parents to help them understand the expectations for children at a primary school level.

The leaflet can be downloaded by clicking HERE

Tests for Year 2 and Year 6

The Standards and Testing Agency have published a leaflet and short video for parents about  assessments at key stages 1 and 2.   They are promoting them across Facebook and consumer parenting sites. We thought it would be useful to share the materials with parents through our website.

Click HERE to go directly to the GOV.UK website which will give you access to video and the information booklet.

Further Information about Year 2 Tests and results from the Standards and Testing Agency can be downloaded by clicking HERE

Questionnaires for Parents

From time to time we ask parents for their views on various topics from uniform to changing the end time of the school day.  One of the easiest ways to gather this information is via an online survey.  If a survey is currently being run then below this text will be a link to go to the current survey. If the next item below is called National and International Information then there is no current survey available.

National and International Information

Sometimes articles and/or video clips will be published here to help make you think.

We hope you enjoy watching Sir Ken Robinson - our aim is to strengthen our children's natural creativity whilst maximising their potential in all areas of the curriculum.
