Support for the Local Food Bank

Dear Parents

As you are aware, Year 6 children, as part of their School Council project to 'Make a Difference', support the local food-bank at St Phillip's church.

Please can you support this cause and provide a non-perishable item that your child can bring into school on Thursday 18th May or Friday 19thMay and Year 6 will deliver the items to the food bank.

Items that the food bank are short of include: tea, coffee, cocoa, biscuits, crisps, snacks, rice, cereal, toiletries and toilet roll.

Items that the food bank have in stock at the moment include: bake beans, tinned tomatoes, pasta and pasta sauces.

On Thursday, Year 6 will put a collection point in school and would appreciate if children from other classes could support their effort by bringing in an item from home.
