Year 2 Art Workshop with Art Spacers

Our Year 2 children had a wonderful creative experience this week during a special art workshop led by Artspacers. The session focused on collage, and the children designed and made their very own colourful Elmer elephants using a wide range of recycled materials. From textured paper to fabric scraps, each Elmer became completely unique — a brilliant celebration of creativity and sustainability.

The excitement didn’t stop there — the children even added working lights to their Elmers, bringing their artwork to life in the most magical way!

It was a fantastic hands‑on opportunity for the children to explore new techniques, express themselves and take pride in their imaginative creations. Well done, Year 2!
