Year 3 visit the library
Year 3 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the local library, where they represented the school with exemplary behaviour throughout the visit. The children demonstrated outstanding listening skills and respect for both the library staff and members of the public, making us all incredibly proud.
During the visit, pupils took part in an engaging library quiz, working collaboratively in small groups to apply and showcase all the information they had learned. They showed great teamwork, communication, and enthusiasm as they navigated the different sections of the library to find answers. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they used their research skills in a real-world setting.
The children also had the opportunity to explore the wide range of books available, from exciting fiction stories to fascinating non-fiction texts. Many pupils discovered new authors and genres, sparking curiosity and a love of reading that we hope will continue to flourish. The trip was a valuable experience that not only reinforced their learning but also encouraged independence and a lifelong enjoyment of books.
