Infection Control at AECPS

Dear Parents

To help ensure a happy and healthy end to the year, we kindly ask for your support in following these measures:

Attendance: Children should only attend school if they feel well and have a normal temperature.
Fever: If your child has a temperature, please do not administer medication such as Calpol and then send them into school. Please keep them at home, until the temperature has gone.
Vomiting or Diarrhoea: Anyone experiencing these symptoms should remain at home for 48 hours after the last episode.
Hygiene: We are increasing handwashing routines for all pupils and staff.
Cleaning: Enhanced cleaning of furniture and frequently touched surfaces is in place.
Ventilation: Classrooms will continue to be well ventilated. Please ensure your child brings a jumper.
Reporting Absence: If your child is unwell and unable to attend school, please inform the office by email or phone, ideally before 8.45am on their first day of illness.
