Astronaut Art in Year 5

In Year 5, pupils combined printing and drawing techniques to create a striking piece of astronaut artwork inspired by the American artist Georgia O’Keeffe. They explored bold shapes, strong lines and carefully chosen colours, using print to build textured backgrounds before adding detailed drawn elements. The final pieces reflect O’Keeffe’s distinctive style.
