Year 6 Enjoy a Fantastic Afternoon at Crucial Crew!

Year 6 had a brilliant afternoon at the Crucial Crew child‑safety event at Macclesfield Rugby Club. The children took part in a series of hands‑on workshops designed to help them build confidence, learn important life skills and understand how to keep themselves — and others — safe as they move towards secondary school.

They threw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm, but a firm favourite of the day was definitely the “beer goggles” experience! Lots of laughs were had as the children discovered just how tricky (and disorientating!) everyday tasks become under the influence — a memorable and powerful reminder about making safe choices.

Well done, Year 6 — you represented our school brilliantly!
